Mbox Import is an extension for Thunderbird that allows you to import mbox and eml files directly into your inbox.

When I had email sent to the wrong email address (e.g. work email to my home address), I used to forward the email as an attachment to work and then save as an eml file, drag it into Outlook Express and then import it into Thunderbird. This morning for the first time, that didn’t work for me. I found this add-on via the Mozilla KnowledgeBase.

Easy to use and saves me time. Two thumbs up.
